About the Role:
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the European Financial Director, focusing primarily on the cards business. This position comes with the responsibility of overseeing daily financial operations, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You'll work closely with teams in South Europe and the US, in a fast-paced environment that's agile, technology-driven, and customer-centric.
Key Responsibilities:
- 🚀 Support sales with pricing, modeling, and pipeline management.
- 📈 Implement a time recording system to capitalise on R&D tax credits and improve profitability.
- 💡 Develop a management dashboard with insightful portfolio level data.
- 🤝 Ensure the timely completion of daily settlement processes with Mastercard.
- 🔍 Review billing processes, aiming to increase revenue generation.
- 📊 Lead month-end reviews, managing accruals, accounting queries, and ensuring robust client and supplier contracts.
- 💳 Support the expansion into new markets and the commercialisation of new products.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 🎓 Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT) and a degree in Finance, Accounting, Maths, Economics, Business, or related fields.
- 💼 Must have experience in financial services, with strong English communication skills.
- 🌟 A people-oriented individual who enjoys collaboration and possesses a keen analytical mind.
